Terms of Use

1. About Luteal

Luteal is an iOS application for menstrual cycle tracking, mood logging, and optional partner sharing. By downloading or using Luteal, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Luteal. If you are located in the European Union, you must be at least 16 years old (or have parental consent where applicable under local law) to use the app and create an account.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@luteal.fr if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Luteal is free to download. Certain features are available through a Luteal Premium subscription, billed through the Apple App Store. All purchases are governed by Apple's payment terms and are processed by Apple. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

To cancel, go to your Apple ID settings > Subscriptions. We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods; refund requests must be submitted to Apple directly.

5. Not medical advice

Luteal is a wellness and tracking tool only. Nothing in the app — including cycle predictions, phase descriptions, or tips — constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Do not use Luteal as a contraceptive method or as a substitute for professional medical care. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns.

6. Partner sharing

The partner sharing feature allows you to give another person a limited view of your cycle data. You are fully in control: you choose what is shared, and you can revoke access at any time. You must only invite people who have consented to receive this information. Do not share your data with anyone without their knowledge and agreement.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Luteal for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app.
• Access or interfere with another user's data without authorization.
• Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the app's backend.

8. Intellectual property

All content, design, trademarks, and code in Luteal are the property of the Luteal developer and are protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Luteal is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including inaccurate cycle predictions or data loss.

10. Termination

You may stop using Luteal and delete your account at any time from the app settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of material changes via the app or by email.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection provisions that apply in your country of residence.
